Leeds United transfers: Major Louie Barry twist emerges

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has confirmed that Leeds United target Louie Barry will be going out on loan this window.

The Spaniard was asked about the club's plans for the 21-year-old and he stated that it would be best for his development if he leaves on a temporary basis.

The Yorkshire Post quoted Emery as saying: “We are very happy with Barry but we have one plan with him and that is to extend his contract and continue his process as a player, and to go on on loan, get experience and confidence.
