Leeds United transfer policy revealed as Jorgen Stand Larsen could sign after high-profile exit
Leeds United could be set for more signings this month before the January transfer window closes.
Daniel Farke’s side have made just one addition so far, bringing in Facundo Buonanotte on loan from Brighton until the end of the season.
Given their recent run of Premier League form, the Whites already have a squad that should be able to keep them in the top-flight.
However, Farke would still like some incomings before the deadline to strengthen his options, and it could still happen, with Jorgen Strand Larsen a target.
Joel Piroe exit would make room for Jorgen Strand Larsen
Leeds have shown an interest in Strand Larsen over the past few days, and they have already enquired about the availability of the Wolves centre-forward.
However, according to Adonis Storr, the Whites have a policy of one-out, one-in for the rest of this window, so they would have to facilitate an exit before bringing in Strand Larsen.
The most likely candidate to be sold would be Joel Piroe, who has been linked with a move away from Leeds over the past few months.
Piroe wants to stay and fight for his place at Elland Road, but he could still leave before the January transfer window shuts.
If the former Swansea City man does depart, Leeds will replace him, with Strand Larsen being one of the options on their shortlist.
Leeds must pull trigger on striker swap
If Leeds want to develop into a strong Premier League side, then they need to be taking opportunities to upgrade their squad.
Piroe has played just 203 minutes of top-flight football this term, and Strand Larsen is clearly a better option at this level.

Last season’s Championship top scorer has gone as far as he can with the Whites, and should not be retained just for sentimental reasons.
Leeds should be pushing Piroe out the door and jumping on the chance to bring in Strand Larsen this month.
