Leeds United transfer news: Update emerges on Bournemouth loanee Luis Sinisterra

A bidding war could be on the cards for Leeds United attacker Luis Sinisterra who’s currently on loan at Bournemouth, according to TEAMtalk.

The news outlet reported on 7 February that a significant offer is being prepared by Serie A giants AC Milan in the summer.

The Colombia international left Elland Road on loan in the summer as there was an option in his contract in the event of relegation.

Via Twitter, TEAMtalk reported: “Luis Sinisterra could be the subject of a transfer auction with AC Milan to launch a significant offer for the Leeds winger’s services.”

Daniel Farke would likely be displeased with the conduct of Sinisterra, especially considering how he parted ways with the club on loan.

The 24-year-old’s decision to force a move back to the Premier League with Bournemouth, despite Leeds’ efforts to retain him, reflects poorly on his commitment to the team.

Farke, who values loyalty and professionalism from his players, would view Sinisterra’s actions as disruptive to team morale and stability.

Additionally, Sinisterra’s injury-prone nature and inconsistent availability further compound the issue, making him a liability rather than an asset to the squad.

Farke’s focus on building a cohesive and dedicated team would be undermined by Sinisterra’s behaviour, highlighting the importance of player attitude and commitment in his managerial philosophy.

Selling him, especially in a bidding war could see Leeds making a lot of money from his services which they can reinvest in strengthening the first-team squad.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites could have moved fast to sign a West Ham defender with just a few negotiation points left to iron out.
