Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on Joe Rodon's situation this summer following an impressive loan with Leeds United, according to The Daily Mail.

The newspaper reported via its website on Monday (27 May) that, while the Whites are "not expected" to breach any Profit and Sustainability Rules if funds are raised from player sales, it could affect Rodon's future.

Tottenham are reportedly asking for between £10million and £15million for the Welshman this summer, as per TEAMtalk, though Leeds can only look at new signings once they raise £100million. [Daily Mail]

Will Joe Rodon join Leeds United permanently this summer?

Leeds will certainly be keen to keep Rodon at Elland Road next season, and it seems the defender has settled into life in Yorkshire after just a single season on loan.

It is obvious that Ange Postecoglou has not involved the defender in his future plans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, so the Whites might be able to take advantage, even without Premier League football.

If the club can raise enough funds to overturn their total owed in unpaid transfer fees, there is no reason why they would not be able to use any excess on the signing of Rodon.

However, that could see many big stars leaving Elland Road, with Crysencio Summerville, Georginio Rutter, Wilfried Gnonto and Archie Gray all linked with moves away.

While the 24-year-old is capable of deputising in the Premier League, with multiple top-tier clubs interested, he could spend one more season in the Championship if Leeds can afford his price tag.
