Leeds United transfer news: New contract on cards for Crysencio Summerville amid Liverpool interest
Leeds United are planning to offer Crysencio Summerville a new contract at Elland Road amid interest from Liverpool, Newcastle and AC Milan, according to Football Transfers.
The transfer news outlet reported on 8 April that the club will offer Summerville a bumper new deal if they are promoted, although there is no guarantee he would sign it.
This comes as Newcastle are looking to improve their attacking options while Liverpool are preparing for life under Jurgen Klopp with one of Mohammed Salah or Luis Diaz possibly leaving Anfield.
Leeds United face Liverpool interest in Crysencio Summerville
Summerville was always bound to be linked with a big move away from Elland Road this summer given his outstanding performances in the Championship which have seen him nominated for the Player of the Season award.
With 17 goals and eight assists in 38 league games, the winger has stepped up to the plate when his side needed them most, standing out as the face of Daniel Farke’s Leeds revolution as they search for promotion to the Premier League.
Alongside Liverpool and Newcastle, Summerville has also attracted interest from European giants Atletico Madrid, with some of the high-profile interest in him likely to tempt the winger to snub any new deal in search of a big move.

This all depends on whether Leeds are promoted to the Premier League as if they miss out on promotion there is very little chance the winger will want to remain at Elland Road. As things stand, they will have to go up via the playoffs.
