Leeds United transfer news: Brenden Aaronson future twist emerges

Leeds United loanee and Union Berlin midfielder Brenden Aaronson is facing a problem ahead of the summer transfer window, according to Bild.

The German news outlet reported on 10 April that the Bundesliga outfit do not find it financially viable to sign the United States international.

They are also not particularly impressed with his performance on loan this season.

Aaronson must not return to Leeds United

Aaronson, who is on loan at Union Berlin from Leeds, might face a difficult summer.

The German side don’t see him as a financially viable option despite his lowered price tag.

Even if he returns to Leeds, Farke prefers not to rely on players who previously requested to leave, calling it “reheating food.”

This suggests Aaronson perhaps won’t be in Farke’s plans and it might take something colossal for things to change.

Leeds might be stuck with a player who underperformed last season and has potential attitude issues, forcing them to look for a buyer elsewhere.

There is no reason to give Aaronson another chance if he’s failed to prove himself at Elland Road and on loan as well.

Hopefully, a market opens for him in the coming weeks as the club will want to cash in and use that money on other players.
