Leeds United transfer news as Real Betis want to advance to sign Marc Roca and Junior Firpo
Real Betis are working on deals to sign Leeds United duo Marc Roca and Junior Firpo in the January transfer window, according to Estadio Deportivo.
The Spanish news outlet (22 November) reported that Betis wants to advance to sign Roca permanently with talks already taking place to sign the midfielder after his recent form and importance to the club since his loan.
The La Liga outfit are also planning to advance to sign Firpo in January. The Leeds left-back desires to return to his old club, but any deal for him will hinge on the condition that Juan Miranda leaves Betis.

Makes sense
Leeds United paid a large fee to bring Roca to Elland Road from Bayern Munich, initially paying the German giants a fee of £10million [Sky Sports] and he departed Yorkshire on loan this summer after only 12 months in England following relegation to the Premier League.
It is believed that the Spaniard is “so attached” to his new surroundings it is like he has already been with Manuel Pellegrini’s side for longer than just a few months.

Betis opening talks to seal his permanent transfer was always on the cards but the Whites will be trying to drive a high price given Roca’s age, profile and contract status at Elland Road.
The Spanish club opening talks already to sign Roca makes perfect sense given his terrific form in Betis, recording four goals and one assist already in 18 games and forming a crucial component in Manuel Pellegrini’s team.
However, given Roca’s profile and contract status, the Whites will have to drive a hard bargain if Betis want him to ensure they get the best out of the deal, one which could also well include Firpo.
The Leeds United left-back has only just returned to full fitness after a spell out of action but given the form of Sam Byram in his position, it’s not wholly out of the question that the Dominican Republic international seeks a move away from Elland Road.
Both players look destined to be off the Leeds United books in the very near future. The ball is in Real Betis’ court.
