Leeds United transfer news as Luis Sinisterra update emerges on replacement

Any Bournemouth deal to sign Luis Sinisterra on loan is now unlikely after Leeds United were unable to find a replacement, according to Jack Rosser.

The Sun journalist shared via his personal Twitter account that a late loan move for the Leeds winger is now in doubt, despite being agreed earlier today and the player travelling ahead of a medical.

Bournemouth have also seen a potential move for Leicester City striker Patson Daka fall through right at the last moments, in a potential disappointing end to the day for the South Coast club.

Leeds will be delighted

The possible collapse of Sinisterra’s move to Bournemouth will be brilliant news for everybody associated with Leeds United. The club’s main task for the summer transfer window has been to retain their best talent, with Sinisterra high on the list of players.

Sinisterra, alongside Wilfried Gnonto and Crysencio Summerville, has been the key player Leeds wanted to keep to help their chances of achieving promotion straight back to the Premier League, with these sorts of players the difference makers in a difficult league.

Players with this sort of talent can often inspire a team to reach new levels and provide talent that is rarely seen across the league on the other sides. Keeping players like Sinisterra will give Leeds an immediate advantage over most sides at this level.

Leeds United

It looked like the club would be losing at least one of their stars after a turbulent transfer window, but the latest update has been a breath of fresh air at Elland Road, with some positive news finally coming following months of exits.

In other Leeds United news, a last-gasp bid was made to sign another Leeds star.
