Leeds United to want three new signings as Summerville exit bombshell emerges
Leeds United could try and sign as many as three new players if Crysencio Summerville leaves the club, according to Yorkshire Evening Post.
The report (31 July) indicates that a central midfielder and a full-back are both at the top of the priority list, and if Summerville departs, they’ll also be pursuing another winger.
It comes after news broke earlier today that West Ham were in advanced talks with Leeds United over the young Dutchman (Dharmesh Sheth, 31 July).
Farke’s no-nonsense approach at Leeds United
It goes without saying that losing in the Championship play-off final can change you. We’ve seen sides falter and eventually drop down to the third tier in the years following such a defeat, and on the other hand, we’ve seen teams bounce back and eventually gain promotion – sometimes just twelve months later.

There’s a level of pressure associated with Leeds United right now. They’re seen by many as one of the favourites to go up, even after falling to Southampton. They’re clearly ready for some incoming transfers, too, with reports suggesting they have the money needed to make some noise in the transfer market.
Daniel Farke isn’t prepared to waste time. If Summerville’s exit is confirmed in the next few days, don’t be surprised to see Leeds in advanced talks with a winger within a couple of weeks. They’re ready for the next chapter of their story, especially with the season being just nine days away.
