Leeds United ‘to offer £17m for Semih Kilicsoy transfer’ as exit on cards
Leeds United are looking to bolster their attack with Besiktas striker Semih Kilicsoy this summer transfer window.
Joel Piroe was impressive at Elland Road this season, winning the Championship Golden Boot with 19 goals.
The Whites will arguably want to add more depth in the number nine position, and Kilicsoy has emerged as a target for Daniel Farke.
Having shown a lot of potential in the Super Lig outfit’s first-team setup, it isn’t surprising to see a host of teams pursuing the 19-year-old.

Besiktas will not budge on Kilicsoy release clause amid Leeds United transfer interest
Besiktas will not compromise on Kilicsoy’s £17million release clause amid interest from Leeds, according to Fanatik.
The news outlet reports (14 June) that the Turkish youngster is on the Whites’ radar this summer transfer window, with Premier League rivals Aston Villa and Newcastle United also monitoring him.

It’s been claimed that the Super Lig outfit want the 19-year-old to play regularly and are evaluating loan options for him.
If the West Yorkshire outfit want to bring the centre-forward to Elland Road, they’ll seemingly need to offer what the Istanbul club are demanding for him.

Farke should demand more than Kilicsoy up front
Farke deserves to be backed by 49ers Enterprises this summer transfer window, and a reliable goalscorer should be one of their priority signings.
While Piroe has done well at Elland Road in recent months, it remains to be seen how he’ll fare in the Premier League.
A prolific goalscorer will arguably give the Whites a better chance of avoiding immediate relegation from the English top flight next season.
Leeds relied on goals from Dan James and other forwards in their Championship title triumph, and will need them to step up again in the English top flight, which is easier said than done.
Piroe can play as a number 10, giving Farke the option to experiment with his attack if a quality centre-forward is signed.
Kilicsoy has shown a lot of promise at Besiktas, but it would be surprising to see him play a significant role at Elland Road if he’s signed in the coming weeks.
The West Yorkshire outfit may have several other positions, such as goalkeeper and left-back, to strengthen their squad, and it would undoubtedly be better to spend valuable funds on someone who can make an immediate impact rather than the Turkish youngster.
