Leeds United to announce Largie Ramazani transfer in hours after developments
Leeds United are set to announce the signing of Almeria winger Largie Ramazani within hours, according to Sacha Tavolieri.
The Belgian journalist has reported that the complete agreement for the attacker will hit £10.2million, with a 15 per cent sell-on clause added.
Ramazani is said to be the first of four transfers that Daniel Farke wants at Elland Road before the August 30 deadline in eight days [Sky Sports].
Leeds United to announce Largie Ramazani transfer
The 49ers Enterprises have faced heavy criticism since selling the likes of Archie Gray, Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter.
With only eight days left in the window before it slams shut though, it looks as though they are putting their foot on the gas to get some of their own business done.
£10.2million is a large fee for the Championship, but plenty more needs to be spent after raking in over £100million from those sales above and more.
Jack Clarke was an option with Sunderland wanting at least £20million, but that looks to be dead in the water already with the addition of Ramzani [iNews].
Even though he wasn’t announced before noon on 22 August, if he was registered by that time, he could be involved against Sheffield Wednesday on Friday 23 August.
That would be a huge shot in the arm for Leeds and Farke, who need it desperately following two draws and a shocking EFL Cup defeat to start the season.
Announcements are finally on their way, this is only the start.
