Leeds United table bid for PSG striker Arnaud Kalimuendo with Newcastle project unconvincing

Leeds United have reportedly submitted a 'new' offer for Paris St. Germain striker Arnaud Kalimuendo.

According to Media Foot, fellow Premier League side Newcastle are also interested in signing the 20-year-old, but the striker is not convinced by their project.

The bid received from Leeds is believed to be worth £16.7million while PSG director Luis Campos is looking for a fee that could rise up to £21million.

Kalimuendo clear does not seem to be convinced by a lot of money being pumped into a football club - as is the case with PSG and Newcastle.

He seems to want a club and city that's crazy about the game and that's why Leeds is the perfect place for him.

The Whites will not only satisfy his financial demands but will also give him the feeling of playing for a sleeping giant that's now on the rise.

He surely will have grown up reading about the great Leeds sides of yesteryears and while they may not be one of the best in the Premier League era, they still are one of the biggest English teams of all time.

Things appear to be on a rise this summer and Jesse Marsch is building an exciting side and he could make Kalimuendo front and centre of those plans.

This would undoubtedly tempt the Frenchman and he will also be guaranteed playing time - something that is not going to happen at PSG.
