Leeds United star Archie Gray convinced by five-time league winner to join Tottenham
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou convinced Archie Gray to join after holding talks with the Leeds United midfielder, according to HITC.
The news outlet reported on 1 July that he’s already completed his medical at the North London club and is close to agreeing on terms.
The 18-year-old’s family also gave the green signal to the move after listening to the Australian’s ideas, a five-time league winner in his managerial career.

As a product of the club’s academy and part of a footballing family with deep roots at Leeds, Gray’s departure will be felt deeply.
His performances last season, featuring in 52 games across all competitions, showcased his immense potential and versatility.
However, the Whites’ failure to secure promotion to the Premier League has put them under financial pressure, necessitating the sale of key assets.
For Gray, the move to Tottenham presents a significant step forward in his career.
Spurs’ status as a top-six Premier League club and their participation in European competitions will provide Gray with the platform to further develop his skills and compete at a higher level.

While Leeds fans will be devastated to lose a homegrown talent, they can take solace in knowing that Gray’s move is a testament to his abilities and a necessary step for his professional growth.
