Diarra not subject to a £25m bid from Leeds United

According to LeedsLive (25 June), the 21-year-old's agents are pushing for a Premier League move for their client.

The Elland Road outfit secured promotion to the top flight and moving the Yorkshire could be a tempting prospect for the midfielder.

It has been reported that Leeds have tabled another bid for Diarra, with a £25million fee being mentioned.

However, sources on both sides of the situation have rubbished this development and no new bid has gone in for the midfielder.

Leeds United must move quickly if they are keen on Diarra

Leeds United must act swiftly if they want to secure Diarra’s signature, as the 21-year-old Strasbourg captain is attracting significant interest from other clubs.

The Whites face competition from other Premier League sides as well as European heavyweights like Atletico Madrid, who can offer Champions League football.

Diarra’s four goals and five assists in Ligue 1, plus his recent Senegal goal against England, highlight his box-to-box prowess, making him a prime target.

Strasbourg’s president has confirmed Diarra can leave if the right offer arrives, but rival clubs could tempt him with higher wages and European competition, unlike Leeds’ relegation battle.

To avoid missing out, they must open talks immediately, potentially making a bid, to convince Diarra and his ambitious entourage that Elland Road offers a platform for his Premier League aspirations.
