Leeds United sent officials to watch Hammarby gem Bazoumana Toure amid Premier League competition
Leeds United were among a host of English clubs who sent scouts to watch Hammarby gem Bazoumana Toure ahead of a potential transfer, according to TBR Football.
The online outlet reported via their website on 29 October that “up to a dozen” British clubs watched the 18-year-old winger in Hammarby’s 3-0 win over Sirius on Saturday (26 October).
The report shares that Premier League sides such as West Ham, Tottenham and Newcastle were all in attendance to watch the Ivory Coast youth international as he bagged two goals and chipped in with an assist.
Bazoumana Toure would be a smart signing for Leeds United
In the summer, Leeds’ attack was one of the areas of Daniel Farke’s team that changed the most.
The transfer window saw star men Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter exit Elland Road with players such as Manor Solomon and Largie Ramazani coming in as their replacements.
Many didn’t know what to expect from the Whites’ attack this term after losing two of their top goalscorers from last season but fortunately for the West Yorkshire outfit, things have gone fairly smoothly.
Ramazani almost instantly hit the ground running up until his recent injury and while Solomon also started his time in West Yorkshire well, his injury has also seemed to hinder him somewhat with murmurs of his loan being terminated early already being shared.

Toure has been one of Hamamrby’s standout players this term, contributing to 13 goals in just 21 games.
The Mirror rates Toure’s value at around £5million, so at that price, it feels like if one of the English clubs in attendance were to take the plunge and make a move, they’d have themselves a bargain.
