Leeds United ready to pay more to get Jonathan Rowe deal done with Norwich City – Sky Sports

Leeds United are ready and willing to pay more in order to complete the signing of Jonathan Rowe from Norwich City, according to Sky Sports.

The report from Lyall Thomas on Thursday (8 August) indicates that Leeds are still in negotiations with Norwich and that they are ready to up their offer to get closer to the Canaries’ valuation of the 21-year-old.

It comes following news that their push for Rowe could be complicated by other circumstances (Yorkshire Evening Post, 7 August).

Leeds United continue Rowe push

It’s clear to see that Daniel Farke is going hard in the paint. Just recently, we learned that Leeds want to sign two more attackers before the end of the window. It’s never ideal to work under pressure in the market but with that being said, Farke seems to thrive under it.

He knows they have funds to play with following the departures of Crysencio Summerville and Archie Gray. He also doesn’t appear to be rushing into anything, either. Rowe has been a long-term target for the boys from West Yorkshire and they’ve been going steady in negotiations.

Now, however, seems like the time to take things up a gear. Norwich know that the youngster is easily one of their most exciting prospects. It’s not like their entire promotion push will collapse without him, but they also know what he’s worth.

Leeds have the money and they have the passion to get this done.

In other Leeds news, the Whites may look to repeat their Crysencio Summerville trick with a new transfer this summer.
