Leeds United ready to get rid of Marc Roca for £10.3m after what he told media
Leeds United are now ready to sell Marc Roca on a permanent deal to Real Betis, according to TEAMTALK.
The online news outlet reported on its website on Wednesday (13 March) that the Spanish midfielder, who is currently on loan at the La Liga side, has been very vocal about wanting to stay in Andalusia.
The 27-year-old told ElDesmarque on 23 January that he is “very happy” with Betis and that he has given his opinion over his future to his agents, with the Spanish club holding an option-to-buy clause worth £10.3million.
Marc Roca permanent exit suits Leeds United
A permanent exit for Roca would certainly suit Leeds after he’s made it clear he doesn’t see a future for himself at the club.
The midfielder featured heavily in their relegation down to the Championship last season, having signed for a reported £10million from Bayern Munich in 2022.
They will be delighted if they can receive all of that money back for him in the summer and, after he’s been in decent form for Betis this season, there is no reason why they won’t activate the clause.

It’s unlikely Daniel Farke would want to bring any of the players who decided to leave the Whites last summer back into the fold and it’s best that the side that were relegated becomes a distant memory.
While he certainly wasn’t the worst player that’s played at Elland Road over the past couple of years, it just makes sense for all parties that his time in West Yorkshire comes to a permanent end.
In other Leeds United news, a £20million permanent transfer has been mooted for one Whites loanee.
