Leeds United ready James Justin transfer as exit to be announced
Leeds United are keen on Leicester City defender James Justin as they continue adding to their squad ahead of the new season.
The Whites are looking to build a competitive squad for their return to the Premier League after a two-year absence.
Gabriel Gudmundsson was signed from LOSC Lille to replace Junior Firpo, who joined Real Betis after leaving LS11 as a free agent.
Daniel Farke retained Sam Byram at Elland Road, with the 31-year-old extending his contract, but further additions are being targeted at full-back.

Justin of serious interest as Leeds United eye Isaac Schmidt replacement
Leeds are set to lose Isaac Schmidt, with the Switzerland international expected to sign for Werder Bremen on a season-long loan.
The 25-year-old struggled for game time at the Whites last season, and it isn’t surprising to see him wanting to leave.
If Farke does lose the right-back, the West Yorkshire outfit will certainly have to look for replacements at Elland Road, and that’s where Justin comes in.

The Leicester defender is of “serious interest” to the Peacocks as they look to bolster their backline, according to Leeds United News.
The news outlet reports (29 July) that the Whites want to sign a full-back who can operate on both sides of the defence.
It’s been claimed that other options apart from the 27-year-old Englishman are also being considered by the West Yorkshire outfit, and it remains to be seen who they will end up signing.

What can Justin bring to Leeds next season?
Jayden Bogle will undoubtedly be Farke’s first choice at right-back next season after some influential displays in the Championship.
Leeds did face several fitness issues last season, though, and will have to be prepared for the worst in the Premier League.
Justin seems to have gotten over his fitness issues after his ACL injury in 2021 and has been consistently available for Leicester in recent years, which is encouraging.
The 27-year-old is also comfortable on the ball with both feet, and his versatility will give Farke much-needed depth in the full-back position.
With the English defender also boasting a ton of Premier League experience, his arrival becomes a no-brainer for the Elland Road hierarchy.
