Leeds United ready Jack Rudoni transfer as Coventry price emerges before window

Leeds United must add quality to their squad if they are to challenge in the Premier League next season.

The Elland Road club secured the Championship title on the final day of the campaign thanks to a late Manor Solomon goal at Plymouth.

Now, the real legwork has begun for the following term as Leeds aim to avoid the relegation fate of the previous three promoted clubs.

Daniel Farke’s side will be armed with substantial riches after it was shared that they will have £100million at their disposal from the 49ers Enterprises.

Leeds United want Coventry’s Jack Rudoni

Leeds have some work to do if they are to boost their squad, with Solomon heading back to Tottenham after his loan.

Although the Yorkshire club possess quality players, they must sprinkle their side with added Premier League nous.

However, Leeds have turned their attentions to Championship quality, with Coventry’s Jack Rudoni a potential target.

Indeed, the midfielder made 21 goal contributions in the Championship this term and scored in the play-off semi-final against Sunderland.

It has been reported that the Whites are interested in Rudoni, although no enquiry has been made, according to Leeds United News.

Furthermore, it is suggested that he could cost Farke’s side at least £15million, which is three times what Coventry paid for him.

Rudoni was a target for former manager Marcelo Bielsa when the 23-year-old was playing for AFC Wimbledon.

Rudoni would be a smart signing for Leeds

Leeds, Burnley, and Sunderland are likely to have similar players on their radars, and Rudoni could be one of them.

The Englishman has always been a player with significant potential, and now he is fulfilling that under Frank Lampard.

Rudoni’s numbers are impressive, and he notched 10 goal contributions in the final 12 games of the campaign.

The midfielder is likely to be a wanted man, and at 23, he has a substantial future ahead of him.

If Leeds can pip their promotion rivals to his signature, then it will be a statement of intent for the Elland Road club.
