Leeds United ready Harry Wilson transfer again as Sky Sports share latest from Elland Road
Leeds look set to revive their pursuit of Harry Wilson when the transfer market reopens in January.
Leeds came close to signing Wilson in the summer, but their hopes of signing the Wales star were dashed as the deadline passed.
Daniel Farke’s fate at Leeds is in the balance as a result of their attacking woes, as the Whites spent just £18million on Noah Okafor, and brought in Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin on free transfers.
The Elland Road outfit have now learnt their chances of signing the 28-year-old, if they end up going back in for him.

Leeds will face a battle to sign Harry Wilson
Leeds are expected to make a fresh approach for Wilson, but their expectations of signing him may have been reduced after a new update.
Sky Sports‘ Rob Dorsett claimed on 11 November that the Whites remain keen on signing the former Liverpool youth gem.
However, it states that a deal to bring him to LS11 in January is viewed as unlikely.
What do the numbers say about Leeds’ attack?
It is obvious that the Peacocks need new attackers when the window reopens.
They have scored 10 goals from their 11 league matches, with only three players scoring more than one goal in the competition.
- Okafor and Nmecha are Leeds’ highest scorers in the league, with two goals each
- Joe Rodon is the only other Whites player with more than one goal in the division
- Dominic Calvert-Lewin has just one goal, from the 17 shots that he has attempted
Calvert-Lewin has missed a total of six big chances, which is the third most in the top-flight, with only Jean-Philippe Mateta (10) and Erling Haaland (11) having more.
They may not be able to get Wilson, but they have to try and bring some fresh impetus in for their front line, otherwise, there is every chance that they will be relegated back to the Championship after just one season back in the top-flight.
They do not score enough at the moment, and the 49ers’ negligence in their attacking recruitment looks set to haunt them, unless they can fix the issue in January.
