Leeds United ready Bayern Munich raid for Daniel Peretz transfer, he wants out
Daniel Farke will know it is no secret that Leeds United need a new goalkeeper as they return to the Premier League next season.
Illan Meslier was the number one choice for the majority of the campaign, but after several blunders that cost his side, Karl Darlow was given the nod for the end of the season.
As a result, Farke needs a new first-team option, with the 34-year-old unlikely to be the consistent number one in the Premier League.
A replacement may have been identified already, though, with Daniel Peretz on the Elland Road radar ahead of the summer transfer window.

Peretz keen on move away this summer
Farke stood by Meslier for much of the campaign, even when mistakes were being consistently made by the goalkeeper.
However, as the Whites started to drop out of the automatic promotion spots in the Championship, the German felt he had no choice but to make a change, which instantly paid off.
Player | Appearances | Goals Conceded | Clean Sheets |
Meslier | 39 | 27 | 21 |
Darlow | 7 | 3 | 4 |
With a battle in the Premier League now lying ahead, there will be no doubts in the manager’s mind that a stronger option is needed to give him the best opportunity of success.
Peretz could well be the answer to those problems, too, as Bayern Munich are searching for a loan spell for their goalkeeper, in the hope of making him good enough for the first team in Germany.
According to German news outlet BILD (25 May), Leeds are targeting the 24-year-old this summer, with talks already underway after initial contact between the two clubs.
However, the West Yorkshire outfit could face competition as PSV Eindhoven are said to be in pole position, with the potential of Champions League football able to be a deciding factor.
For his parent club, the most important thing is getting regular minutes, though and as an uncontested first choice at Elland Road, that could serve as a boost.

Peretz could be good for Leeds, but Farke needs permanent solutions
Leeds need a first-choice goalkeeper, and Bayern Munich have someone who needs regular minutes, so this could be a solid addition to the squad this summer.
The main ambition at Elland Road is to retain a spot in the Premier League, too, so having the strongest players possible available to help with the push would be a benefit.
However, despite wanting an exit now, Peretz’s long-term future is likely to lie in the Bundesliga, with this only being a temporary move.
Farke cannot afford to find himself in a position next summer where he needs complete goalkeeping reinforcements yet again, having lost someone who’s part of the foundation of a team.
Leeds need to put themselves first.
