Dovkbyk not ‘unsellable’ amid Leeds United transfer interest

Roma are willing to cash in on Leeds target Dovkbyk before the end of August, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

The news outlet reports (29 July) that the 28-year-old isn’t “unsellable” at the Serie A outfit amid interest from Elland Road.

It’s been claimed that the Italian club have placed a £30million price tag on the centre-forward’s head and are unwilling to let him leave for less than that.

Leeds will have quality goalscorer on their hands in Dovbyk

Dovbyk may be able to transform Leeds as he possesses a keen eye for goal, which will undoubtedly come in handy next season.

The Ukrainian centre-forward developed himself at SC Dnipro-1 before catching the attention of many with his performances at Girona.

In the 2023/24 campaign, the 28-year-old won the Pichichi Trophy for being the leading goalscorer in La Liga.

Leeds relied on Joel Piroe last season, and while Farke may decide to build the team around the Dutchman, he will definitely need more support.

Dovbyk’s physicality and mobility arguably make him the perfect fit for the Premier League, and reinforcements in the number nine position is something the Whites could potentially need soon.

With Mateo Joseph pushing to leave Elland Road, the West Yorkshire outfit should ready an offer for the Roma striker.
