Leeds United reach verbal agreement with Bournemouth for Luis Sinisterra loan exit – Fabrizio Romano

Leeds United have reached a verbal agreement with Bournemouth for Luis Sinisterra to leave Elland Road on loan, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The transfer specialist reported via his Twitter account on Friday, (1 September) that the Colombian winger is travelling to the south coast to complete his medical before finalising the terms of a loan switch to the Vitality Stadium.

Sinisterra has accepted the personal terms of the deal with the two clubs remaining in negotiations to finalise the details of the temporary switch, with the Whites likely to lose the services of the wide-man before the transfer deadline.

Only hours before news broke of Sinisterra’s loan switch, Daniel Farke had told the press that United weren’t expecting any further outgoings before the transfer window closed.

Not good.

Leeds look to have bitten the bullet on Sinisterra by sending him away for a season with the hope they can get back to the Premier League without him.

The Colombian clearly wants to be playing at a higher level, and if Leeds can bring in another option on top of his exit, it may not be the worst thing in the world.

With no option to buy, which looks to be the case, Sinisterra will hold his value or at least return to Leeds if they do go up and get back into the Premier League.

Many fans will not see it that way though, and another loan deal will only get them riled up with too many exits signed off on already in West Yorkshire.

It is now essential that Wilfried Gnonto, Dan James, Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville all stay at the club, there are no excuses should they leave, regardless of how much money may come in.

Farke will want replacements, there is no doubt about that now.

In other Leeds United news, one big-money star could leave after the deadline passes at 11pm.
