Leeds United prepare new Cameron Archer bid, ready to spend millions
Leeds United are readying a second bid to sign Southampton striker Cameron Archer, according to TeamTalk.
The online outlet reports that the Whites are ready to pay just over £15million and are confident it will happen with the attacker open to a move to Elland Road (Adam Pope).
Leeds have already seen an initial loan offer rejected by the Premier League club, who want to wait until the summer to evaluate their options.
Daniel Farke and his team hope Archer’s willingness to move will force their hand before 3 February.
Leeds United ready new Cameron Archer bid
Despite stressing throughout January that he expects a quiet month, Farke looks to finally be making his move in the winter transfer window.
There is the added bonus of the deadline being pushed back to Monday 3 February, meaning there is an extra few hours to get deals done.
Archer coming out of nowhere is no surprise either, given the 49ers work in silence until these deals are nearly completed at Elland Road.

Leeds would not be returning with another bid if they hadn’t been given some sort of confidence from Archer or Southampton, otherwise, they would move on.
Paraag Marathe and the 49ers don’t mess around, they have made that clear and if a new number nine is delivered in the coming days, promotion may be guaranteed.
This is the main one to watch before the deadline, with mentions of a new defensive option too, although this has to be the priority (Sky Sports).
In other Leeds news, Whites officials are reportedly baffled by reports linking the club with a Newcastle star.
