Leeds United player who is ‘one of the best talents’ Jason Pearce has seen now set for exit

Leeds United may be making a mistake as they prepare to bid farewell for another time this summer.

Arsenal dominated Daniel Farke’s side in a 5-0 battering at the Emirates.

This followed Leeds’ 1-0 win against Everton in a turn of events which will leave Farke puzzled over what went wrong. The transfer market is one place where the Whites have tried to find solace.

But even with the arrival of Dominic Calvert-Lewin to Leeds, it is clear there is still work to do. But rather than focusing on incomings, United have outgoings as one of their chief priorities.

Jason Pearce once praised Largie Ramazani who could leave Leeds

Largie Ramazani was present for the highs and lows of Leeds’ Premier League promotion campaign in 2024/25.

While he had some minutes during the Whites’ pre-season tour, he remained on the bench during Leeds’ win over Everton. His omission from the squad to face Arsenal has fueled speculation of his departure this summer.

The winger had a four-year stint with Almeria before signing for Leeds. He made a huge impact in Spain, scoring his first La Liga goal on 14 August 2022.

His feat gained traction on social media, including former footballer Jason Pearce, who coached him while at Charlton.

Retweeting Ramazani’s post celebrating the goal on X, he said: “Big signing. I remember coaching his age for a few weeks before Man United signed him. One of the best talents I’ve seen.”

Ramazani is keen on signing for Valencia on loan before the window closes. But Leeds may want to think twice before loaning him out.

It was believed that the deal with Valencia for Ramazani included an option to buy. However, this may no longer be the case, which indicates that United are aware of the potential star they have on their hands.

Is loaning Largie Ramazani the correct move?

After spending four years in Spain with Almeria and a couple in La Liga, Ramazani has experience in the Spanish top division.

During both seasons in La Liga, the winger netted six goals and provided six assists for his former club.

With Valencia looking to finish well this season, Ramazani likely receives consistent minutes. As such, a return to the Spanish top-flight may be best for all parties this season.

With a few extra minutes and goals under his belt, the Belgian winger will become a better asset for Leeds in the future.
