Leeds United offer three-year contract to goalkeeper
Leeds United are set to sign young goalkeeper Robbie Cook on a three-year contract, according to Alan Nixon.
Nixon wrote on Patreon that after a trial with the club, the Whites have offered the youngster a deal, beating the likes of Manchester United and Sunderland to the player.
The 17-year-old is a highly rated prospect at Perth Glory and is now looking to move into English football in the hope of pushing himself to the next level.
Leeds United are set to sign Robbie Cook
Although this is not a signing for right now, this is an exciting prospect for Leeds as they look to secure the goalkeeper’s signature on a contract in West Yorkshire.
Given the likes of Manchester United and Sunderland were interested in the youngster, it reflects well on the position that the Whites are in at the moment with the prospect of a move to Elland Road an exciting offer.
Daniel Farke has shown he is happy to use the younger players in his squad with current goalkeeper Illan Meslier just 24-years-old which makes this an exciting future prospect.

With United currently sitting second in the Championship, pushing for promotion back to the Premier League this season, it’s good to see the club are keeping an eye on the long-term future of the team too to ensure they are well prepared for what may come their way.
For now, all eyes will remain on this campaign and the current squad of players available but the 17-year-old comes highly-rated which makes him an exciting one to keep an eye on.
