Leeds United now fear Georginio Rutter exit after £28m Premier League done deal
Leeds United fear that Brighton will reignite interest in Georginio Rutter after selling Deniz Undav for £28million, according to the Sunday People.
The newspaper reported on 11 August (page 59) that the Seagulls could make a fresh offer after a £30m bid was rejected earlier in the window.
The fee received from Stuttgart for the Germany international could help the Premier League side to “bankroll a second push” for the 22-year-old.
Leeds United could lose Georginio Rutter
After already losing Crysencio Summerville and Archie Gray, the Whites will be hopeful of keeping the rest of their star players.
Wilfried Gnonto and Rutter started the opening day clash against Portsmouth which could point towards their future at Elland Road being safe.
Should Brighton return with an offer that Daniel Farke and Co. can not turn down then a move away may become likely.
The Frenchman had a superb campaign last time out and will be looking to replicate that form in the championship once again.
That form has clearly caught the eye of sides in the Premier League, which won’t come as a surprise.

If Leeds were to lose Rutter they would leave a hole in their squad which would almost be impossible to replace in the second tier.
Options within the squad like Brenden Aaronson won’t offer what the former Hoffenheim man can and will leave Farke’s squad much weaker.
In other Leeds United, Norwich City make new Saturday decision on Jonathan Rowe as the Whites want new transfer.
