Leeds United must move quick and sign Ben Brereton Diaz in a bargain deal
Leeds United are interested in making a move to sign Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Brereton Diaz this summer, according to the Sun.
The Whites are in the market to sign players to bolster their squad ahead of the 2022-23 campaign and has already added as many as five first-team players.
One of the areas where they are still lacking is the attacking front but as per the latest report, they are interested in the player who could be available for a fee of £12-15 million before add-ons.
Leeds are going through a more than decent transfer window where despite losing two key players in Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha to Manchester City and Barcelona, they still have a decent enough squad to push for another season in the Premier League.
The addition of someone like Diaz will be a cherry on top to what the club have already done in the transfer market as he can be not only a backup for Patrick Bamford, but he can also become a permanent first-team member in the near future.

Therefore, it is important that the Whites must move quickly and ensure that they take advantage of Blackburn’s financial condition and sign the player at such a bargain price.
Diaz has been a Blackburn player since the summer of 2019 when he moved from Nottingham Forest in a deal worth £7.47 million.
Since then, he has represented his current club in 129 matches across all competitions where he managed to net 33 times and provided 13 assists in the process [Transfermarkt].
