Leeds ‘most likely destination’ after Aleksandar Mitrovic development in Saudi
Leeds United could potentially seal a bargain deal for Al-Hilal striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.
The 30-year-old has continued to show his goalscoring talents in Saudi Arabia, finding the back of the net 47 times in the league over the last two seasons.
Mitrovic has been linked with a move to Elland Road before the end of August, but it remains to be seen whether the Whites can afford him.
Former Everton star Dominic Calvert-Lewin will join Daniel Farke’s ranks at the West Yorkshire outfit, and the German manager may get another number nine in soon.

Al-Hilal look to release Leeds United target Mitrovic from contract
Simone Inzaghi has informed Mitrovic that he’s surplus to requirements at Al-Hilal amid interest from Leeds, according to Ge Globo.
The news outlet reported on 12 August that the Whites are seen as the “most likely destination” for the Serbia international as they look to strengthen their attack at Elland Road.
It’s been claimed that while the 30-year-old still has a year remaining on his contract in Riyadh, the Saudi Pro League outfit prefer paying him off and releasing him.
The West Yorkshire outfit may have an opportunity in the closing stages of the ongoing transfer window to try and bring the 6’2″ centre-forward to LS11.

How will Mitrovic fit in for Farke at Leeds?
Mitrovic could be perfect for Leeds as they look to add more physicality to their team ahead of the Premier League season.
The Whites have signed the likes of Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw and Anton Stach, all of whom possess a strong stature.
Calvert-Lewin will bring much-needed Premier League experience to the West Yorkshire outfit, but his consistent fitness issues will be a cause of concern for the Elland Road faithful.

Leeds should continue their pursuit of Mitrovic despite the England international’s arrival in LS11, as they need more options up front.
Farke doesn’t seem to count on Patrick Bamford anymore, while Mateo Joseph has left for Mallorca on a season-long loan.
Mitrovic proved pivotal for Fulham in the English top flight, and his addition will certainly give the German manager the ability to set up for a more direct approach to goals next season.
