Leeds United make transfer move as Colombia attacker Jhon Arias update emerges

Leeds United along with West Ham, Leicester City and Crystal Palace have made a proposal to sign Fluminense attacker Jhon Arias, according to RTI Esporte.

The Brazilian news outlet reported on 13 June that despite all the proposals, the Hammers are the ones leading the race to sign him.

Fluminense are understood to want £12.6million to sell the 26-year-old Colombia international this summer.

Jhon Arias will be a good signing for Leeds United

Arias’ ability to play across the forward line and his impressive aerial prowess would provide Leeds with a versatile and dynamic attacking threat.

His style of play showcases his strength, agility, and goal-scoring ability and he would be one of the best players in the Championship.

At 26 years old, Arias also represents a long-term investment for Leeds.

His youth and potential for growth align with the club’s strategy of building a competitive team for the future.

However, the £12.6million price tag could be a significant obstacle for Leeds, given their financial constraints.

Despite this, Arias’ potential impact on Leeds’ squad makes him an attractive prospect for the club.

If Crysencio Summerville ends up leaving, the Whites could certainly do with someone akin to the Colombia international.
