
Leeds United make Luca Thomas announcement
Leeds United have announced that Luca Thomas has extended his loan spell at National League York City until January.
His performances have impressed with the National League side extending his loan, which Leeds confirmed in a post on X (19 November).
The 20-year-old has made five appearances in all competitions for York, with one goal to his name after scoring on his debut for the club.

Thomas has impressed at York City, with the side currently second in the National League and the Leeds gem has certainly played his part in that.
Having scored on his senior debut against Ebbsfleet United last month after coming on as a 75th-minute substitute, Thomas has featured regularly and his development will be something that the Whites are keeping a close eye on.
The forward also featured in the club’s FA Cup encounter with League 1 leaders Wycombe Wanderers, starting the game against the Chairboys.

Whether Thomas has any future at Leeds may be determined by his performances until January, when the Whites will have to make a decision on the youngster.
Thomas signed a one-year contract extension at Elland Road in the summer just gone although that will expire six months after he returns from York City and a permanent exit could be on the cards for the forward.
