Leeds United make exit stance on Crysencio Summerville amid Burnley transfer twist
Leeds United are preparing for the potential exit of Crysencio Summerville following interest from Burnley, according to The Sunday Mirror.
On page 69 of the newspaper’s print edition on 6 August, it reported that the Whites are bracing themselves for a bid for the Dutch winger after seeing several stars already depart Elland Road this summer.
It said the Premier League club are ready to “switch their sights” to signing the 21-year-old after failing in their bid to land former Leeds academy product Jack Clarke from Sunderland.

Not ideal
It certainly isn’t ideal for the Whites to hear that some of their potentially key players heading into the new season are still attracting interest from other clubs.
But it’s no surprise after Summerville put in a couple of excellent performances in the Premier League last year to prove that he can cut it at that level after scoring four goals and registering two assists.
If American-owned Burnley do decide to firm up their interest with an offer that is close to Leeds’ reported £12million valuation, then it would be extremely difficult to turn that down and persuade him to stay given that it would secure a move back to the top flight for him.

With the new campaign now set to get underway for the club today (6 August), the last thing they need is rumours to continue swirling around about their players leaving.
Daniel Farke needs to know who he will have at his disposal, so he can put his side in the best position to make a push for promotion.
In other Leeds United news, one player is reportedly unhappy at the club and could be set for a loan move this summer.
