Leeds United make Diego Llorente loan decision in new transfer update
Leeds United are currently only considering a loan exit for Diego Llorente this summer with Real Betis interested, according to Todofichajes.
The Spanish outlet has reported (4 July) that “negotiations will be long” with the La Liga side said to be waiting for the market to progress before making a move.
Llorente has a “desire” to play for Betis which could allow a deal to be completed quickly this summer.
Diego Llorente to leave Leeds United for Real Betis
The 30-year-old spent last season on loan at Roma where he featured regularly in Serie A as Roma finished sixth.
Llorente completed three seasons for Leeds which saw them frustratingly relegated from the Premier League in the third.
It has been made clear that the former Real Madrid defender does not see his future in the Championship so a move seems likely.
The Spaniard has already been linked with a move away this summer but with Real Betis looking to step up their interest, a move could be on the cards.
The Whites need defenders this summer and have been handed a boost in signing Joe Rodon on a permanent deal.

Daniel Farke will be looking to add to his squad as he looks to ensure that promotion to the Premier League is achieved at the second attempt.
Losing Llorente won’t be a surprise and seemingly makes sense for all parties in the summer transfer window.
