Leeds United make Calvert-Lewin transfer decision after approach
Leeds United have been linked with Everton striker Calvert-Lewin, with Daniel Farke keen on a number nine.
The England international’s contract on Merseyside runs out at the end of June and he appears set to leave on a free transfer.
With 239 Premier League appearances under his belt, it remains to be seen if he adds to that at his next club.

Leeds United are not in pursuit of Calvert-Lewin
Despite previous links to the 28-year-old, LeedsLive reported on 25 June that the Whites are not pursuing his services at this stage.
The Elland Road outfit do want a striker but Calvert-Lewin is not someone who’s on the priority list.
This comes after claims that Leeds had made an approach for the Everton striker. (The i, 24 June)

Last season, despite playing 26 Premier League games, the striker with 11 England caps to his name managed to find the back of the net just three times.
He’s also battled fitness and form issues in recent seasons, which is why no Premier League club is currently close to securing his services.

Farke needs a 10-15 Premier League goal striker this summer
Farke and Leeds United must prioritise signing a striker who can reliably deliver 10-15 Premier League goals per season to ensure survival in 2025-26.
Last season’s reliance on Joel Piroe was understandable in the Championship, but the Premier League is a different ball game.
A clinical striker is critical in tight relegation battles as he would provide the firepower needed to convert chances created by Leeds’ high-pressing style.
With competitors strengthening, a dependable striker could be the difference, securing crucial points and bolstering confidence in a squad fighting to stay up.
