Leeds United loanee Jack Harrison makes ‘review options’ admission when asked about Everton future
Jack Harrison, who is on loan at Everton from Leeds United, said he will “review options in the summer” when asked about his future at Goodison Park.
The winger, 27, was one of several players to depart Elland Road on loan in the summer after having a clause inserted into his contract if the Whites were relegated.
Harrison has scored once and provided three assists for an Everton side who are back out of the relegation zone in the Premier League despite having a 10-point penalty imposed upon them.

Sky Sports News (9 December, 11:43) asked Harrison about his future live on air, but he kept his cards close to his chest.
“Do what I can this year, I’m focused on this season and having a successful year and then we’ll just have to review options in the summer,” he said.
“But like I said it’s a great club and I don’t believe that we’ll be in a relegation fight at the end of the season. Obviously, we have to do what we can now to avoid that but I have every belief that this club can get out of a difficult situation and we’ll just have to see what happens.”

No way back
Journalist Paul Brown said in November that Leeds would ask for around £30million to make the move permanent, a fee that seems out of Everton’s reach even if their financial issues are eased by a takeover.
But regardless of whether Harrison makes a permanent move to the Toffees or not it is hard to imagine there is a way back for Harrison, who like several others in the summer took the easy way out after relegation.
Harrison maybe has a little more credit in the bank than some of the players who opted to utilise the clause in their deals, but it is still pretty hard to forgive and forget when he left at a time Leeds were at a low ebb.
Plus the attacking options available to Daniel Farke right now, albeit in the Championship, are pretty impressive so there will be a question mark as to whether there would even be a place in the squad for him, even if the ultimate goal of promotion back to the top flight is achieved.
In other Leeds United news, Patrick Bamford’s situation at Elland Road is now “very, difficult” according to one pundit.
