Leeds United latest on Callum O’Hare as Burnley eye summer transfer
Leeds United do not appear to be “massively in the mix” for in-demand gem Callum O’Hare, according to Graeme Bailey.
Speaking to Leeds News [5 July], journalist Bailey added that “he would be surprised” if Leeds move for the former Coventry City ace following the loan return of Brenden Aaronson.
Burnley are said to like O’Hare, who manager Mark Robins hailed as “incredible” shortly before his Coventry departure.
The Whites’ search for midfield reinforcements has been ongoing for quite some time, with O’Hare previously emerging as a key point of interest.
O’Hare has garnered attention following a standout season with double-digit goals, attracting interest from a number of clubs.
Are Leeds United desperate to sign players amid plenty of departures?
Leeds’ approach in this summer’s transfer market appears cautious rather than desperate, despite recent developments.
They’ve only made one significant signing so far with Joe Rodon’s return and have seen plenty of outgoings – nine to be precise.
On top of that, with Archie Gray moving to Tottenham and Jamie Shackleton joining Sheffield United, the Whites now face decisions on potentially selling players like Willy Gnonto and Crysencio Summerville.
Brighton and Hove Albion previously reported interest in Summerville and Gnonto, which suggests more potential player exits from Elland Road this summer [TBR Football].

Nonetheless, sources close to the Whites have claimed that Leeds will only sell their players if it suits their strategy and the fee is right [Nancy Froston, 3 July].
They added that despite ongoing interest in star players from other clubs, the Whites remain in a strong position due to having multiple attractive assets.
Any potential sales would also be part of a measured approach, allowing Leeds to pursue other beneficial moves in the transfer window.
