Leeds United want Bashir Humphreys from Chelsea
After the defensive showing against Middlesbrough, it is safe to say that Daniel Farke could benefit from some reinforcements in his backline.
Even with senior options like Max Wober returning to Elland Road, the Whites were dismantled by Boro in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night (14 August).
Humphreys could prove to be an excellent signing although he would certainly represent a somewhat unknown quantity for most Leeds fans.
The Chelsea youngster has spent two loan spells away from Stamford Bridge with Paderborn and Swansea while making just two senior appearances for the Blues [FotMob].
It isn’t clear whether the 21-year-old would join permanently or on a loan deal but there are positive points of either move.

The Cobham Academy graduate has the versatility to feature as a centre-back or in either full-back role which would certainly be useful for Farke.
This would be a positive signing for the squad although maybe Leeds fans may want more experienced heads to add to their team.
