Leeds United get Patrick Agyemang transfer answer as bids update emerges
Derby County haven’t received any offers for striker Patrick Agyemang amid interest from Leeds United.
There have been suggestions that the Whites have made a move for the 25-year-old, but those claims have been dismissed.
Daniel Farke is looking for a new attacker at Elland Road after signing Facundo Buonanotte on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion, but it remains to be seen who the West Yorkshire outfit will target.
Joel Piroe’s future at Leeds remains uncertain, with the forward rejecting multiple offers to leave so far, but things can surely change in the coming weeks for him.
Derby County won’t entertain offers for Leeds United-linked Patrick Agyemang
Derby have no intention of selling Agyemang in January, according to DerbyshireLive.
The news outlet reports on 21 January that despite talks of the Whites and Crystal Palace’s approaches for the 25-year-old USA international, the Championship club haven’t been contacted.
It’s been claimed that the Elland Road hierarchy will be wasting their time if they do put in a bid, as the Rams won’t entertain any offers for Agyemang.
Farke has an in-form Dominic Calvert-Lewin at his disposal, and the addition of a new number nine arguably won’t be a priority for the West Yorkshire outfit.
Lukas Nmecha has also been impressive whenever he’s been given an opportunity, and it looks like the Peacocks are set for now in terms of their goalscoring department.
Daniel Farke should shift January transfer priority at Elland Road
Sebastiaan Bornauw is being linked with an exit from Elland Road, but it remains to be seen how his situation unfolds.
While the Belgium international has struggled for game time at Leeds, he’s still undoubtedly a key part of the squad, especially with Farke playing three centre-backs.

Even if Bornauw doesn’t leave, the Whites should be looking to reinforce their backline, as injuries can surely derail their season at Elland Road.
Jaka Bijol has picked up an injury and will be sidelined for a few weeks, highlighting the need for more bodies in defence.
