Leeds United finalise Marc Roca transfer, it will cost millions
Leeds United could sell Marc Roca to Real Betis for as little as £5.9million this summer, according to TEAMtalk.
Estadio Deportivo reported on Tuesday (18 June) that Leeds are “finalising” a deal with the La Liga side for the 27-year-old to leave Elland Road permanently, with Betis proposing an offer below £10million.
TEAMtalk [19 June] has now doubled down on those claims, stating that the proposed fee will be around £5.9million, far below the £10million mark this summer.
Leeds United set to sell Marc Roca to Real Betis this summer
Having jumped ship following Leeds’ relegation from the Premier League, Roca finally looks to be leaving Elland Road on a permanent deal, though some fans may raise an eyebrow at the price.
The Whites signed the Spaniard from Bayern Munich for a £10million fee two summers ago, as per BBC Sport, and could be set to lose £4million in his Elland Road exit.

Several players will likely leave Elland Road this summer, and few fans will shed a tear over Roca, but with the club needing to raise funds to pay off unpaid transfer fees, his exit will make a rather small dent.

The likes of Crysencio Summerville, Georginio Rutter, Wilfried Gnonto and Archie Gray are all being heavily linked with exits, not only for their talent but because of their huge price tags too.
Roca was unlikely to return to Elland Road after Leeds failed to secure promotion back to the Premier League, but it was certainly hoped that a loan spell away would help boost his transfer fee.
That has not worked out, sadly, and Betis look set to benefit this summer.
