Leeds United fans worry more players could leave Elland Road after Rutter
Leeds United fans are worried that more players could follow Georginio Rutter out of Elland Road before the end of the transfer window.
The season has begun in frustrating circumstances with the Whites failing to pick up a win in their opening two games.
This has been compounded by the likely departure of the 22-year-old who is set to join Brighton [Florian Plettenberg].
The Sun reported on 17 August (page 13 of pull-out) that supporters are “concerned that more players could depart before the 30 August deadline”.
This fear has only been made worse with Daniel Farke refusing to “rule out more big-money departures from Leeds”.
Leeds United to lose Georginio Rutter
After losing the playoff final to Southampton, it was always going to be a difficult summer for the Whites to navigate in terms of outgoings.
It felt like there were some key names that were always likely to move on from Elland Road and that has proved to be the case.
This has seen Archie Gray and Crysencio Summerville depart in frustrating transfers, although the fees received are positive for finances.
Farke is yet to replace the Dutchman in particular with no attacking signings made ahead of the third game of the season.
Links to Rabbi Matondo have come up but fans aren’t exactly sold on the fringe Rangers winger to replace the Championship Player of the Season.

Losing Rutter as well as the other pair could prove to be truly detrimental to Leeds’ season and prospects of promotion.
The Frenchman had looked ready to be the talisman at Elland Road for the campaign but now he looks set for a move to Brighton.
In other Leeds United news, Patrick Bamford must be sold before deadline after his recent showings.
