Leeds United eye Richarlison transfer as £30m Tottenham exit talks begin
Leeds United are in the market for a new striker this summer following their promotion to the Premier League.
Daniel Farke’s side will end the Championship season as the top scoring team in the league by some distance, but they will need more firepower in the top flight.
Leeds have Joel Piroe as their main option at number nine, but while he has impressed at times, with four goals in the promotion-clinching match against Stoke, a Premier League-ready option is a priority.
Tottenham striker Richarlison has a lot of experience under his belt, and he has now emerged as a transfer target for the summer.

Tottenham striker Richarlison linked with Leeds
Richarlison joined Tottenham from Everton in the summer of 2022 after an outstanding spell at Goodison Park, but it has not worked out for him in North London.
The Brazil international could now leave Spurs this summer, with Tottenham enduring a disastrous season as they sit 16th in the table, and the attacker has made just 12 Premier League appearances in the campaign.

It has now been reported by The Boy Hotspur (May 1) that Richarlison has opened talks with Everton over a return to the Toffees, but there is a lot of interest from elsewhere.
Leeds have been named alongside Newcastle United, Fluminense, Palmeiras and Saudi Arabian clubs among others as interested parties, with £30million said to be enough to secure his signature.

Richarlison could be a strong signing for Leeds
It is unclear whether Richarlison would be open to joining Leeds, but if he is open to a move to Elland Road, then he would be a superb signing.
The 27-year-old would arrive as a striker in his prime years with a point to prove, and has shown in the past that he is capable of scoring goals in a side battling relegation.
Richarlison can also play on both wings if necessary, and if Leeds can get him back to his best, he is a forward who could potentially keep them in the Premier League.
With 240 Premier League appearances and 64 goals to his name, the Brazilian is someone who knows the top-flight well, and would be a high profile signing for Leeds as they make their return.
