Leeds United discuss transfer swoop to sign Ben Brereton Diaz as three more new arrivals mooted
Blackburn striker Ben Brereton Diaz is a transfer target who’s been recently discussed at Leeds United, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper suggests that Leeds want to sign three more players this summer after a deal for USA midfielder Brenden Aaronson was completed in May.
It is understood that Aaronson’s former Red Bull Salzburg teammate Rasmus Kristensen is being eyed up to fulfil Leeds’ needs at right-back while the Whites are also in the market for another midfielder and a new striker.

The Mail suggests that Brereton Diaz, 23, is a striker target at Elland Road while Huddersfield midfielder Lewis O’Brien is also mentioned by the report.
Incredible goalscorer
Leeds cannot afford to go through this summer transfer window without signing a new striker.
Everyone saw what happened last season.
While Patrick Bamford could well be fit and play every single game next season, it’s not a risk that Leeds can afford to take.
Leeds rolled the dice last summer and in the January transfer window when they decided that having one senior striker in the squad was enough to keep the team in the Premier League.

It took until the final minutes of the season to show that Leeds can stay up without Bamford.
But that risk isn’t worth taking again and a new striker needs to be brought in.
Brereton Diaz has had an incredible season at Blackburn.
LancashireLive’s Blackburn reporter dubbed the Chile international’s season as “phenomenal” on 8 December as he ended the campaign with 22 goals in 37 Championship appearances.
Brereton Diaz is in the final year of his contract at Ewood Park and could be up for grabs for a decent price this summer.
It’s definitely worth Leeds’ time in trying to sign the Chilean hotshot.
In other Leeds United news, this player is considering his options at Elland Road despite only signing last year.
