Leeds United could soon call Bartlomiej Dragowski agent to set up January transfer number one
Leeds United could soon be set to call the agent of Spezia keeper Bartlomiej Dragowski to set up their first transfer of the January window, according to TuttoMercato.
The Italian news outlet reported on its website on Wednesday (3 January) that the Poland international’s future looks to be far away from the Serie B side after losing his place in the starting lineup over the past few weeks.
It added that the 26-year-old’s £950,000 per year salary is weighing on the Italian club’s accounts, with the Whites joined by fellow Championship side Hull City in the race to sign him.

Interesting
It’s interesting to see that Leeds could be in the market to bring in another keeper during this transfer window following the links to Dragowski.
Whether or not that is to challenge Illan Meslier and Karl Darlow for a starting spot remains to be seen, but it would be a surprise to see him happily come in as the third choice.
It could mean the Whites are preparing themselves for a potential departure after Meslier was linked with a move away from Elland Road over the summer.

The Pole has amassed 129 appearances in Seria A in his time with Spezia – alongside spells with Fiorentina and Empoli – before his current side dropped down to Italy’s second tier last season.
He would bring plenty of experience to Elland Road, but it’s hard to see this move coming off without one of their other senior keepers moving on this month.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are targeting a Premier League ace as they prepare for a transfer blitz in January.
