Leeds United conditions set as Largie Ramazani 'received like a king' on trip abroad

Published on

Leeds United winger Largie Ramazani will not be short of offers this summer as he prepares for a permanent Elland Road exit.

Ramazani spent last season on loan in LaLiga with Valencia, where he made 27 appearances in total.

The 25-year-old still has two years to run on his Leeds contract, but it is clear he is not part of Daniel Farke's plans.

Valencia would like to re-sign Ramazani if a deal can be struck, but this time permanently.

For now, though, the 25-year-old is enjoying a holiday in Burundi, where his family are from.

And it is fair to say his visit went down well with the locals.

Largie Ramazani future remains uncertain as he's mobbed in Burundi

There has been plenty of speculation already this summer regarding Ramazani's future.

For now, though, he is enjoying his downtime ahead of the start of pre-season - whether that is with Leeds or a new club.

A report from ElDesmarque tells how Ramazani was "received like a king in Burundi" this week.

The same report goes on to provide an update on the former Belgium Under-21s international's future.

Ramazani is still very much wanted by Valencia, with Leeds themselves open to an agreement.

However, Valencia will first have to meet Leeds' demands, with the Spanish side not prepared to overpay.

Ramazani to Valencia not complicated by confirmed deal

Valencia recently brought in Ryunosuke Sato, leading to suggestions that they were no longer interested in Ramazani.

However, Sato plays in a different position to Ramazani and he has been signed to play in the same side as the Leeds ace, rather than replace him.

The ball is very much in Valencia's court, but you get the impression this one could run until the end of the transfer window.

It is a classic case of the interested club seemingly being unwilling to match the selling club's price.

Leeds will surely budge, however, as they will not want Ramazani to stick around at Elland Road.

Especially not when he will have just 12 months to run on his deal next summer, meaning even less chance of landing any sort of sizeable fee.
