Leeds United club source shares if last-gasp transfer will arrive before 11pm

Leeds United have a “slim” chance of welcoming a new face to Elland Road on deadline day, according to LeedsLive.

The online outlet reported via their website (3 February) that a club source shared that no signings are set to enter Daniel Farke’s ranks despite their need for reinforcement.

The Whites have been linked with several players throughout the winter window but nothing seems set to come to fruition despite the concern from fans.

Daniel Farke is playing a dangerous game at Leeds United

Even though Leeds may be cruising at the top of the Championship table at the moment, it still feels like some new faces could really help them guarantee promotion to the Premier League.

The Whites’ main goal this season was to regain their Premier League status and do what they couldn’t last term and earn a top-two finish.

Summer arrivals such as Manor Solomon and Jayden Bogle have been incredible additions to the squad and without them, the West Yorkshire outfit would be half the team they are at the moment.

So, it feels strange that Leeds aren’t looking at possible targets other than Archer and Armstrong to bolster their ranks.

If Farke’s men get some injuries or their form ends up dropping off, things could turn sour quickly and Leeds could find themselves out of the top two.

Which, to be quite frank, would be one of the worst possible outcomes, especially after what happened last term.
