Leeds United check on Pavel Sulc as most likely outcome shared for £43m midfielder
Leeds United have checked on Lyon attacking midfielder Pavel Sulc ahead of the summer transfer window.
Sulc has been in superb form for the French side this season, scoring 10 times in Ligue 1 alone and 11 times in all competitions.
The 25-year-old, who only joined Lyon from Viktoria Plzen last summer, also has six assists to his name in the top flight and the Europa League.
Sulc could be on the move once again when the transfer window reopens, but Leeds are not alone in showing an interest.

Leeds like look of Lyon star Pavel Sulc
Leeds were linked with a move for Sulc last year when the attacker was valued at below the £8.5million mark.
Given his form in one of Europe’s elite leagues this campaign, though, as well as the Europa League, it is not surprising his valuation has risen considerably.
As per the Daily Mail, Lyon want £43m for Sulc, but there is hope that the French side will sell for below that sum.
The same report names Leeds as one of the teams to have checked on the Czech Republic international, alongside fellow Premier League sides Tottenham and Aston Villa.

However, Atletico Madrid are named as the main threat for Sulc given their lure and their finances.
What type of player is Sulc?
Sulc has played in a variety of positions in the final third this season. He is capable of playing on the right, the left or indeed central.
It is in the middle that Sulc has made most of his appearances this term, playing just off a striker and chipping in with regular direct goal involvements.
Sulc can score, assists and just generally cause a bit of chaos in the final third, so it is no surprise to see the attacker in such high demand.
Leeds’ problem now is that they face competition from some big-name sides, with Atletico seemingly the favourites for his signature.
This looks like it may well be a case of the one that got away, with Sulc very much there for the taking less than a year ago.
