Leeds United can seal ‘Golden’ Daniel Svensson transfer as questions emerge
Leeds United have joined the race to sign FC Nordsjælland sensation Daniel Svensson, and questions have emerged over his future.
The 22-year-old is also said to be attracting interest from Liverpool and Manchester United but has ruled out a move in the January transfer window [Fotbol Direkt].
However, his future at the Danish side is in doubt with questions over how long they can hold onto their “golden nugget” and Leeds could take advantage of that [Fotballskanalen].
Leeds United hold transfer advantage on Daniel Svensson
The Whites hold a big advantage over the Premier League clubs that are interested in the Swedish international, either in January or next summer.
While Svensson would have to prove himself and wait for first-team action at Old Trafford or Anfield, he would likely start straight away at Elland Road.
This could give the Championship outfit the upper hand in negotiations with the 22-year-old with left-back an area of concern at the club.

Svensson would solve this issue, given that Junior Firpo is out of contract in six months and Sam Byran who is naturally a right-back currently deputising as the Dominican international serves a three-match ban.
The youngster could be a long-term solution for Daniel Farke at left-back as he seeks to guide the club back into the Premier League after missing out on promotion in heartbreaking fashion last season.
The one-cap Sweden international would be a solid coup for the Whites and they should do everything they can to make the transfer happen with that significant advantage in negotiations.
In other Leeds United news, Mateo Joseph could be one game away from being dropped.
