Leeds United attacker Jack Harrison update emerges as Everton make announcement
Everton have confirmed that they will be holding further talks with Leeds United attacker Jack Harrison over a potential summer transfer.
The Premier League outfit made an announcement via their official website on 17 May explaining which players would be leaving and those that would be staying.
Harrison’s loan expires at the end of June, but the understanding is that the Toffees want to retain his services.
Jack Harrison’s Everton future may hinge on Leeds United promotion
Harrison, having spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Goodison Park and making a substantial contribution with 29 league appearances and six goal involvements in the top flight, has proven his value to them.
His future at Leeds is uncertain, particularly if they fail to secure promotion with a game at Wembley on the cards later in May against Southampton.
If Leeds secure promotion, they might be less inclined to sell Harrison, possibly driving up the price Everton would have to pay.
Conversely, if they lose the play-off final, they might be more open to selling Harrison, but could still demand a significant fee and it remains to be seen whether or not the Toffees will be able to pay it.

The Premier League outfit have been docked eight points this season for failing to meet the financial rules and are in the midst of a takeover crisis so money is not necessarily easy to flow at Goodison Park.
