Leeds United alerted as Crystal Palace make Jesurun Rak-Sakyi transfer decision
Leeds United have been placed on alert as Crystal Palace have decided to allow Jesurun Rak-Sakyi to exit on loan this summer, according to Alan Nixon.
The Sun journalist reported via his Patreon page (4 August) that the Eagles forward has been told he can spend the season on loan after a “bizarre” pre-season trip to America where he was an unused substitute.
Sheffield United, Hull City, QPR and Watford are all competing with the Whites for the winger’s signature and the London clubs could appeal because they are closer to Palace and the player’s home.
Rak-Sayki could decide on his next destination in the next couple of days and if all goes to plan, he could make his debut for a new club when the Championship season kicks off next weekend.
Will Jesurun Rak-Sakyi exit Crystal Palace amid Leeds United transfer interest?
Leeds United seriously need to bolster their attacking options before the Championship gets underway, especially now that they have lost Crysencio Summerville to West Ham United in a big-money move.
While the likes of Wilfried Gnonto and Dan James remain at Elland Road and Georginio Rutter is more than capable of playing off a flank, further depth is required if the Whites want to win promotion back to the Premier League.
Rak-Sakyi may not be the most experienced of attackers, but he has shown plenty of promise during his time at Palace and whilst on loan at Carlton Athletic in League One which should be more than enough encouragement.

As was the case with Jaidon Anthony last season, Leeds don’t necessarily need a winger on loan who is going to play week in and week out, but they do need someone who can come in when the games start coming thick and fast.
Hopefully, they will manage to beat their Championship rivals to his signature this summer as this would be a really sensible addition to Farke’s ranks. Whether they come out on top or not, the Whites should have an answer sooner rather than later.
