Leeds United ahead of Inter Milan in race to sign Nahitan Nandez
Leeds United are now beating Inter Milan in the race to sign Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez, according to Calcio Casteddu.
This comes as CalcioMercato reports that Nandez, 25, isn't sold on a potential move to Elland Road.
However, it seems as though Inter's move for Çalhanoğlu may have changed things.
All over the place
The Italian media needs to get their story straight about Nandez because conflicting reports are now starting to emerge.
Does Nandez want to play for Leeds? Does he want to play for Inter more? Are Inter signing Çalhanoğlu?
All of the reports seem to be a bit all over the place and that leads us to err on the side of caution over Nandez.
It was claimed that Leeds are prepared to pay the central midfielder's release clause of £30.9million, which seems to be the price that Cagliari are expecting to sell the Uruguayan.
But there are just too many conflicting claims and too many different updates to know what's what in regards to Leeds, Bielsa, Nandez and Inter Milan.
Do we expect to see Nandez at Elland Road next season?
As of right now, we don't.
In other Leeds United news, this “magic” midfielder could be a masterstroke of a signing as he’s tipped to be the next big thing.
